Pet Euthanasia

Inevitably, euthanasia is a choice that many pet owners must make. Dr. Cooley can perform this service in the home in which your pet has lived and is most comfortable. A combination of oral and injectable medicines will ensure a peaceful passing, relieving your pet of its discomfort.

Pet Body Care

Cremation Services

There are several options available to care for your pet’s body. Cremation is the most common choice. An owner will choose either to have the ashes returned or to have the ashes spread communally with other pet’s ashes in a location adjacent to the pet cemetery. Owners who prefer to get the ashes returned will have a number of urn choices offered by the crematory. Burial is the last option which owners may perform on their own property or pets can be buried in a local pet cemetery. Dr. Cooley will transport your pet’s body if cremation or pet cemetery burial is chosen.

End of Life Counseling

Dr. Cooley has been helping pet owners for 38 years with the difficult decisions that arise as one’s dog or cat ages and becomes sick. Each situation is unique – Dr. Cooley will listen, offer a caring ear, and answer any questions you may have. Telephone counseling is available for owners that just aren’t sure what to do.
